International hip hop artist Akon, who was in the city last week, visited one of Mumbai’s most luxurious night clubs, Hype, as DJ Aqeel’s guest.

And he came away so impressed, that he thought Hype was the coolest club he has been to! Meanwhile, DJ Aqeel of Hype said that “Akon’s DJ Benny played the best hip hop set I’ve ever heard!” The place was packed to capacity with the crowds going crazy with Akon’s presence and Benny’s sound in the house that night. Hype (which will be opening in New Delhi soon) is a showstopper venue with plans to feature the world’s top DJs/performers, professionals and artists from the world of music and entertainment.
