Akon and Susan Boyle took home one trophy a piece at the 2010 World Music Awards in Monaco Tuesday. Each deemed Best Selling Artists from their respective countries, Akon and Boyle join fellow award winners David Guetta, Michael Buble, U2, Shakira and Lady Gaga.

Featuring performances from Kelly Rowland, Jennifer Lopez, Akon, will.i.am, Ludacris and Pharrell Williams, the World Music Awards ceremony also recognized Lady Gaga as World's Best New Artist and the Black Eyed Peas as the World's Best Pop Artist.
