Akon -  Aadesh records with Akon, Wyclef Jean: International artistes rarely collaborate with Indian singers. And Aadesh Shrivastava has done just that by recording two songs with Akon and Wyclef Jean. The two bilingual, Hindi and English tracks, were recorded in February and March for Shrivastava’s album Sound Of Peace. He says, “The songs will be on my forthcoming album, which is out in December. Since I’m working under the aegis of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, it has taken me more than a year to record the album.”

The song recorded with Akon is called One for the world, lets get together, and the Wyclef track is titled Lets hope for sunshine. In 2006, Aadesh first worked as a co producer on Wyclef’s album Carnival Tunes, for the song Hollywood meets Bollywood. Incidentally this is also when Aadesh met Akon. Akon“I first met Akon when I was performing with Wyclef at LA’s House Of Blues, a nightclub. Akon liked my singing and immediately decided to work with me,” says Shrivastava.

Amitabh Bachchan has sung one of the songs in the album as well. He’s currently negotiating with Bachchan, for an appearance in the video for the album. Shrivastava Raajneeti song More piya which topped numerous charts was the singer’s last major hit this year.
